Literally the best sushi on earth. Just go. Don't think about it. Just go. I just have to keep typing because yelp won't let me leave a short review.
So just go. Okay!? -

Go here...but make reservations first.
Food was amazing, staff super friendly. The chef is about as legit as it gets. Will be back -

I don't even know how to express how HAPPY I was to have found this place. How do I even start?? First of all, I'd like to thank you Master Jun-san for opening the restaurant like this in Van Nuys. Fair price, great food, lovely atmosphere, nice music, awesome waitresses, and amazing selection of Japanese Sake. It's truly blessing to be able to have this kind of experience without having to go to DTLA or Hollywood.
A whole time here, I honestly felt like I was in Japan. It's like a whole different world inside.
This was my first time, so I decided to order suggestions along with what looked good to us on the menu. We got shrimp ball (must have!), crab cream korokke, fried mountain yam, tsukune with oroshi ponzu sauce, fried oysters, Kinme snapper carpaccio, and some nigiri. Every dish was prepared at its best! My favorite was shrimp ball and crab cream korokke. Salmon belly nigiri and Engawa nigiri were very nicely prepared as well. They literally melt in your mouth! I wasn't too crazy about fried oysters, just because the batter or bread crumb part was a bit too thick for me, but my friend liked them. It's just a preference.
We finished with home made Japanese pudding and tiramisu. They were so yummy with just the right amount of sweetness. The whole experience was AMAZING. Oh and I love their bathroom too! Very clean and modern. I already cannot wait to go back.10 stars!! -

3 for service ...4 for food. Several tasty bites. Randomly stumbled upon this place while dropping off daughter for a karaoke party in the plaza. Cool vibe, great jazz music playing. However ...With exception of miso eggplant and the crab cream dish (too much sauce in my opinion) no other dishes wowed us. I suspect that sitting at the bar is where the action is at...at least that's what it sounded like. We were tucked away In a booth so server didn't pay attention to us often. I suspect this place has great promise judging by surrounding dishes I peeked at and reviews. I'd be happy to go back and give it a try another time as it seems very authentic and a great chill vibe.

One of my favorite place! It's a Tapas bar, not restaurant. This place serves very authentic Japanese soul food. They have sushi and Japanese style western food!
